PUBLICATION

Mohamed H. El-Axir is a professor of production engineering in the Department of  Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Northern Border University, Arar, KSA. He received a PhD in production engineering from Menoufia University according to channel system with North Carolina State University, USA. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in machining and production processes. His research areas of interest include surface integrity and fatigue life in conventional and precision machining and in burnishing process. Response Surface Methodology (RSM) and taguchi method and its application in machining and burnishing processes. He has published in journals such as international journal of machine tool and manufacture, journal of materials processing technology and wear. He has published about 33 papers.
